Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pricing – Freight Forwarding role based in Mumbai. The position is responsible for preparing and updating freight rates for exports, coordinating with carriers and agents, and ensuring competitive pricing for various trade lanes.

Day-to-day tasks include analyzing freight transportation costs, responding to customer and internal rate inquiries, and maintaining accurate pricing records and databases. The role involves close collaboration with sales and customer service teams to support quotations, tenders, and proposals, and to ensure timely and accurate communication of pricing.



The team member will also monitor market trends, negotiate rates as required, and uphold company standards for service quality and compliance.

Qualifications

- Experience in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation, with a strong understanding of international logistics and pricing structures.
- Knowledge of Forwarding and Export processes, including documentation, incoterms, and regulatory requirements.
- Customer Service skills to manage rate requests, address queries, and support internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to analyze costs, compare carrier options, and prepare accurate and competitive quotations.
- Robust attention to detail, data management, and proficiency with MS Excel and related pricing tools.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.
- Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics pricing is preferred; a degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.
- Capacity to work on-site in Mumbai and manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
