Raheja
College of Arts and Commerce is a student-led initiative that promotes entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and leadership among learners. Based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, the Cell organizes programs, events, and workshops that help students explore startup ideas and develop essential business skills. It acts as a platform for collaboration between students, mentors, alumni, and industry professionals. The Cell encourages creativity, problem-solving, and practical learning, preparing students to pursue entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial paths.
Role Description The President of Entrepreneurship Cell LSRC is a full time, on-site leadership role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The President oversees the Cell’s strategic direction, sets annual goals, and ensures alignment with the college’s vision and student needs.
Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the core team, delegating tasks, supervising event planning, and coordinating workshops, competitions, and guest sessions. The President cultivates partnerships with industry professionals, alumni, and campus stakeholders, manages communication across internal and external channels,
and maintains transparent reporting on projects and budgets. The role also involves mentoring team members, fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture, and representing the Cell at college meetings, events, and external forums.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including experience guiding teams, making decisions, and resolving conflicts.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities to plan, execute, and evaluate events and initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for public speaking, networking, and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, or startup ecosystems through projects, events, or initiatives.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to set goals, allocate resources, and improve Cell operations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, alumni, and external partners in a campus environment.
- Integrity, accountability, and commitment to creating an inclusive, non-discriminatory, and student-centric culture.
- Current or recent enrollment at L.S. Raheja College of Arts and Commerce, with active participation in co-curricular activities preferred.
