About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Fircosoft Application Specialist / Engineer to support, configure, and optimize the Fircosoft Suite, with a primary focus on Firco Continuity, for enterprise sanctions screening and financial crime compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and regulatory compliance of mission-critical payment screening applications that process high-volume financial transactions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Firco Continuity, payment systems (SWIFT, ACH, Wire), messaging technologies, databases, Linux, and production support within banking or financial services environments. You will collaborate closely with AML, Compliance, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Vendor teams to ensure seamless operations and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support & Production Operations
Provide end-to-end Level 2 and Level 3 production support for Fircosoft applications in a 24x7 enterprise environment.
Monitor application availability, stability, and performance to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis for application and infrastructure issues.
Coordinate with Level 1 support teams and escalate complex issues to Fircosoft/LexisNexis (Level 4) when required.
Support disaster recovery, failover testing, and business continuity initiatives.
Sanctions Screening & Payment Processing
Support sanctions screening of financial transactions, including:
SWIFT MT/MX Messages
Wire Transfers
ACH Transactions
Ensure timely processing of payment messages against sanctions and watch lists.
Monitor alert generation and assist business users in managing screening workflows.
Support investigation and resolution of flagged transactions while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
