Role Overview
Associate Wealth Manager - Fixed Income, the role is focused on acquiring new clients in Mumbai, closing investment business, and ensuring a smooth onboarding handoff to operations/advisory teams. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in financial sales/wealth/investments with a strong local client network and end-to-end sales capability from prospecting to closure.

Key responsibilities
New client acquisition: Identify, reach out to, and convert prospective clients through calls, meetings, referrals, and networking in and around Mumbai.
​Sales closure: Own the end-to-end sales cycle—understand needs, present solutions, handle objections, negotiate, and close.
​Onboarding support: Coordinate documentation and onboarding steps with internal teams to ensure a seamless account opening/activation experience.
​Pipeline management: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, track progress, and update CRM/trackers with accurate activity and conversion metrics.
​Market & product awareness:



Stay updated on market trends and investment product positioning to communicate clearly and responsibly with clients.

Experience & qualifications
Minimum 1+ years of experience in the finance sector with prior exposure to wealth management/investments (e.g., mutual funds, PMS/AIF, bonds/fixed income, insurance, broking, or investment platforms).
​Strong client network in and around Mumbai with demonstrated ability to generate meetings and referrals.
​Proven track record managing the full sales process from lead generation to closing.
​Strong communication, relationship-building, and basic analytical skills (presenting options, explaining risk/return at a high level, etc.).
