We are building a certification that turns strong engineers into Forward Deployed Engineers who can take an agentic AI pilot all the way to a production system a client can run. We are looking for the person who has actually done that work to teach it. This is a role for a practitioner who builds, not for a full-time trainer.
About the program The program is six instructor-led modules and a capstone. It does not re-teach people how to build an agent. It builds everything around the build that makes it survive production: software engineering discipline, reliability, agent architecture, retrieval at scale, multi-agent systems, evaluation, security, cost, and the delivery arc.
Sessions run on Saturdays and are hands-on. You will run labs, pair programming, and live problem solving, not lectures. You will teach cohorts of our strongest engineers, most of them machine learning engineers who build capable pilots and need the production and systems depth to deploy them for clients.
What you will do
- Deliver the six Saturday modules as hands-on working sessions, and mentor each cohort through a project that grows across the program.
- Co-finalise the trainer-facing curriculum with our learning team and our practice subject-matter experts.
- Design and run the labs, the drills, and the capstone, and assess demos and oral defenses toward each engineer's certification.
- Bring real production experience and current tooling into the room, and teach the durable concepts rather than any single framework.
What you bring
- Production experience: You have shipped agentic AI or LLM systems to production, ideally in client-facing, forward-deployed work.
- Engineering and DevOps breadth: Testing, including non-deterministic systems, containers,
CI and CD, cloud deployment with GCP strongly preferred, and databases including vector stores. This is the gap the program closes, so you must own it.
- Agent depth: Agent architecture (harness design, state machines, orchestration, long-horizon agents, memory), agentic retrieval at scale, multi-agent systems, evaluation and observability, agent security, and cost and scaling.
- Spec-driven development: Real experience building against a spec, not just prompting your way through.
- Tool fluency with judgment: Fluency with current agentic frameworks and coding tools, for example LangGraph, ADK, and modern agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, and the judgment to teach concepts over tool trivia. You pick up a new technique fast, and you can teach others to do the same.
- Credibility with senior engineers: Evidence that you can teach or mentor solid engineers and hold a room of them.
- Availability: You can deliver in person on Saturdays, for roughly six sessions and a capstone.
Bonus
- A client-delivery or consulting background: discovery, scoping, ROI, and stakeholder communication.
- Deep GCP experience or certification.
- Prior experience running a bootcamp, a cohort program, or a technical curriculum.
The engagement
- A contract engagement for the first cohort, with the intent to continue for future batches if it goes well.
- Weekend, virtual delivery. Roughly six Saturday sessions of six hours, plus the capstone.
- Compensation is competitive and based on experience, and we will discuss it directly.
