Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Post Graduate Teacher (Biology) based in Rishikesh. The teacher will plan and deliver Biology lessons aligned with curriculum requirements for senior classes, using engaging and learner-centered teaching strategies.

Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom teaching, assessing learner performance, assigning and grading work, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves maintaining accurate academic records, supporting laboratory-based practical work, ensuring safety during experiments, and integrating modern teaching aids and technology. The teacher will also participate in faculty meetings, school events,



examination duties, and parent interactions, while contributing to the overall academic and co-curricular development of learners.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with the ability to deliver Biology content clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Training, including designing structured, age-appropriate learning activities and assessments.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with learners, families, and colleagues and for conducting engaging classroom sessions.
- Postgraduate degree in Biology or a related discipline, with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Experience teaching Biology at secondary or senior secondary level, ideally in a school environment.
- Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to enhance classroom teaching and learner engagement.
- Robust classroom management, learner mentoring, and inclusive teaching practices to support diverse learning needs.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and alignment with the school’s values of holistic learner growth.
