Portfolio Finance Manager to support investment decisions by evaluating financial, operational, and commercial aspects of potential portfolio companies. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with the investment team in assessing high-growth businesses across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct
Financial Due Diligence (FDD)
for investment opportunities.
- Review historical financial statements and assess the quality of earnings, working capital, cash flows, and debt position.
- Identify key financial risks, red flags, and value creation opportunities.
- Analyze revenue trends, profitability, margins, and financial performance.
- Prepare due diligence reports and present key findings to the investment team.
- Work closely with founders, management teams, auditors, tax advisors,
and legal consultants during transaction execution.
- Support deal execution through financial analysis and data validation.
- Assist in post-investment monitoring and review of portfolio companies where required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with
3–5 years of post-qualification experience
.
- Prior experience in
Financial Due Diligence (FDD), Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), or Forensic Due Diligence
.
- Candidates from
Big 4 or reputed Mid-sized CA Firms will be preferred.
- Robust understanding of financial statements, accounting standards, and valuation concepts.
- Excellent analytical, report-writing, and stakeholder management skills.
