We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Founding Engineer to join our early-stage team and play a pivotal role in building our technology platform from the ground up. This is a unique chance to work alongside the founding team, influence technical strategy, and create scalable products that solve meaningful customer problems.
As a Founding Engineer, you will take ownership of the backend architecture, design highly reliable systems, and establish engineering best practices. You will be responsible for making critical technology decisions while contributing hands-on to product development. The ideal candidate is passionate about building products from scratch, thrives in fast-paced startup environments, and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
Architect distributed systems, APIs,



and microservices capable of supporting rapid product growth.
Build secure, high-performance backend infrastructure with a strong emphasis on reliability and maintainability.
Collaborate closely with founders, product managers, and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Define engineering standards, coding guidelines, and development workflows for the team.
Optimize application performance, database efficiency, and system scalability.
Develop RESTful APIs and backend integrations with internal and third-party services.
Implement authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and security best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve platform stability.
Mentor engineers and contribute to building a strong engineering culture as the company grows.
