Chevron ENGINE Decision Analysis Consultant (Bengaluru)
About the position
Chevron ENGINE has an exciting chance for Decision Analysis Consultant to join the ENGINE Innovation team; this role will be based in Chevron’s office in Bengaluru.
Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct Decision and Economic Analysis consulting to support investment decisions and commercial negotiations across the globe in all parts of our business; ranging from upstream oil and gas to liquified natural gas (LNG), midstream, refining and lower carbon.
Support globally based Decision Analysis (DAs) Consultants working on investment decisions by helping them frame opportunities, develop and refine decision and economic analysis models (ensuring accuracy & reliability), perform analysis, and develop communication materials.
Application of DA Principles: Apply key principles, processes, and tools related to Decision Analysis, Investment Analysis, Framing, and Chevron Project Management requirements.
Economic and Cash Flow Modeling: Conduct detailed economic and cash flow modeling, ensuring robust and insightful financial analyses. Update, adapt and build decision models, with limited assistance, of medium complexity for different fiscal regimes while applying good DA/ economic modeling standards and best practices. Will require modeling of different fiscal and tax regimes such as production sharing contracts (PSC) and Joint Venture Agreements (JV’s); may require engagements with tax and legal departments.
Framing: Lead framing and decision-structuring sessions, ensuring all relevant factors are considered and integrated into models and decision-making tools. Utilize a variety of framing tools. Actively leads/ supports development,
