Role Description The Placement Officer role is a full time, on-site position based at Anudip’s Sadanandanagar center in Bengaluru.
The Placement
Officer will build and maintain relationships with hiring partners, coordinate campus and off-campus placement activities, and ensure learners are well-prepared for interviews and assessments. Daily responsibilities include organizing employer engagement events, tracking placement outcomes, providing career guidance and counseling sessions,
and supporting learners in resume building and job search strategies. The role also involves collaborating with training and academic teams to align skill development with market requirements, maintaining placement-related documentation, and regularly reporting progress to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Campus placement and employer relationship management skills, with experience coordinating job drives and placement activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with learners, employers, and internal teams.
- Career counseling and guidance skills to support learners in setting goals and making informed career decisions.
- Training and education-related skills, including the ability to conduct employability sessions, mock interviews, and job-readiness workshops.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in any discipline; specialization in social work, education, management, or human resources is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local and national job markets, particularly entry-level roles suited for youth from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work with data and reports, track placement metrics, and use MS Office or similar tools effectively.
- Commitment to inclusivity, ethical practices, and supporting learners from disadvantaged and diverse communities.
