About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Placement Officer to build strong industry partnerships and create excellent career opportunities for our students. The ideal candidate will coordinate placement activities, strengthen employer relationships, and ensure students are well-prepared for successful careers.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies, HR professionals, recruiters, and industry partners.
- Generate placement opportunities, internships, apprenticeships, and live projects for students.
- Coordinate campus recruitment drives, walk-in interviews, and placement events.
- Identify new companies and expand the employer network across various industries.
- Organize career guidance sessions, employability workshops, mock interviews, resume-building, and soft skills training.
- Prepare students for interviews through career counselling and interview coaching.
- Maintain a database of recruiters, job openings, placed students, and placement statistics.
- Track student placement progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Coordinate with academic departments to align student skills with industry requirements.
- Conduct employer feedback and student satisfaction surveys to improve placement outcomes.
- Meet monthly placement targets and strengthen long-term corporate partnerships.




- Represent the institute at job fairs, networking events, and industry meetings.

Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or any relevant discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in Placement, Corporate Relations, HR Recruitment, Business Development, or Career Services.
- Experience in the education or training industry is preferred.

Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes and hiring practices.
- Presentation, counselling, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and CRM/MIS tools.
- Ability to organize events and manage multiple placement activities.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel for corporate meetings.
