About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for experienced Physics Experts with a PhD in Physics or a closely related field to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. You'll apply your scientific expertise to analyze complex physical systems, evaluate technical content, and help improve the reasoning, accuracy, and performance of next-generation AI systems.

No prior AI experience is required. Your physics knowledge, research background, and analytical thinking skills are the primary qualifications for success in this role. Professionals with expertise in theoretical physics, applied physics, computational physics, mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum physics, thermodynamics, and related disciplines are especially encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate real-world physics data, concepts, and scientific scenarios to support AI model training and evaluation.

• Develop, review, and refine advanced physics problem sets, technical explanations, and scientific content .

• Assess AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and technical depth .

- Translate complex physical theories, mathematical models, and scientific phenomena into clear and accessible explanations.

• Create high-quality golden responses that serve as benchmark examples for AI training and evaluation.

- Provide expert feedback to improve project standards, content quality, and AI reasoning capabilities.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure alignment with evolving project objectives.




- Participate in quality assurance initiatives by identifying content gaps and recommending improvements.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline from an accredited institution.

• Strong expertise in theoretical and/or applied physics .

- Exceptional analytical thinking, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience conducting, reviewing, or evaluating advanced scientific research and technical content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to scientific accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing, reviewing, or publishing research papers, educational materials, technical documentation, or scientific publications .

• Expertise in one or more areas such as quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, condensed matter physics, thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, optics, astrophysics, particle physics, or computational physics .

- Experience teaching, mentoring, or developing educational physics content.

• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, scientific data annotation, or AI model evaluation .

- Experience working with interdisciplinary scientific teams and remote collaboration environments.
- Adaptability to evolving project requirements and collaborative review processes.

Compensation

- Competitive compensation of $80–$90/hour.
