Responsibilities

The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire commissioning process of power plant systems and associated utilities, ensuring that all systems are tested, validated, and operated according to design specifications and industry standards. Key responsibilities include:

Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities for De-Mineralised Water Plants, RO Plants, Coal Labs, and Boiler Chemistry Control systems, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
Lead the commissioning team, providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, technicians, and contractors to achieve seamless project execution.
Develop detailed commissioning schedules, procedures, and checklists in alignment with project timelines and safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and Adani’s stringent quality benchmarks throughout the commissioning phase.
Coordinate with project management, design, procurement, and operations teams to resolve technical issues, optimize commissioning sequences,



and manage resource allocation effectively.
Oversee water chemistry control processes, including circulating water chemistry and boiler chemical control, to ensure optimal plant performance and longevity.
Manage the commissioning of coal sample preparation systems and coal lab setups, validating accuracy and reliability for operational use.
Implement and monitor comprehensive testing protocols for RO plants and De-Mineralised Water Plants, ensuring water quality meets stringent standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing commissioning outcomes, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Prepare detailed commissioning reports, documentation, and handover records to facilitate smooth transition to operations.
