We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer – Supplier Quality Assurance / Supplier Technical Assistance on a contract basis with 6–8 years of experience in supplier quality and mechanical component manufacturing.

A solid understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and ISO/IATF standards is essential.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong team player capabilities and involves:
Supplier evaluation and development
Supplier audits and performance monitoring
Driving quality improvements and cost efficiency
Ensuring on-time delivery
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and onboard new suppliers based on technical and quality capabilities.
Conduct supplier audits (process, system, and product audits).
Drive APQP and PPAP activities for current product development.
Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions (8D, SCAR).
Lead root cause analysis and ensure timely closure of quality issues.
Support cost improvement initiatives (VAVE) and process optimization.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
Perform joint inspections at supplier locations for First Article Inspection (FAI) and production parts.
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly quality reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive supplier quality improvements.
Mandatory Skills
5–7 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance / Supplier Technical Assistance.
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
