Role Summary

This role manages all aspects of operation and maintenance of multiple or large physical facilities. Recommends, plans, and directs the design, maintenance, construction, renovation, and repair of organization facilities. Leads and negotiates multi-year vendor contracts.



This role also ensures effective utilization of real estate assets while aligning facility strategies with organizational growth and operational goals.

Responsibilities

Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
Develops plans and programs that meet present and anticipated space and facility requirements. Evaluates present and future needs for real estate, owned or leased, for the organization.
Oversees and plans annual facility spending for office services, building and grounds maintenance, and facility expansion or improvement projects.
Prepares cost estimates for building renovations or space allocations.
Manages the maintenance, repair, and improvement of physical systems and equipment, related vendor relations, and cost control.
