The Consulting Application Engineer (MS 365) leads the architecture, design, and enterprise integration of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Power Platform solutions for one of the largest healthcare organizations in the United States. This role operates with minimal supervision and is accountable for driving platform strategy, governance, and long-term technology direction.

This position provides enterprise-level operational oversight and architectural leadership for SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and the Power Platform. The Consulting Engineer mentors senior engineers, leads complex cross-functional initiatives, and ensures alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.

The role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 platforms, including administration, search architecture, solution design, development, R&D;, infrastructure strategy, and production support. This individual defines governance models, leads architectural planning,



and drives adoption of future platform capabilities.

The Consulting Engineer demonstrates advanced analytical and design capabilities, a high degree of innovation, and deep understanding of the business impact of technical decisions. This role influences enterprise standards, drives strategic initiatives, and ensures delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Solid leadership, executive communication, and organizational influence are essential.

Major Responsibilities:

Administration / Development and Growth

Define enterprise architecture, governance frameworks, and standards for SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform
Lead Sharepoint Advanced Management – including administration, tenant configuration, site architecture, and lifecycle management
Drive enterprise search strategy and implementation (connectors, indexing, relevance tuning, cross-platform search)
Architect and oversee
