Own End-to-End Architecture
Define and own end-to-end enterprise architecture — application, data, integration, security, and cloud layers — for one or more product lines or client engagements.
Translate ambiguous business goals into explicit architectural blueprints and reference implementations, applying strong first-principles reasoning to design pragmatic, defensible solutions.
Design cloud-native and serverless solutions on AWS, following AWS Well-Architected principles, across compute, networking, storage, and data layers.
Lead architecture and design reviews across teams; make, and stand behind, build-vs-buy and technology trade-off decisions independently.
Design integration strategies for internal services, third-party systems, and partner APIs (REST, GraphQL, event-driven, messaging), and lead complex enterprise system integrations.
Drive Technical Delivery Across Multiple Engagements
Operate with a high degree of autonomy across multiple concurrent solutions — driving architecture and technical decisions to closure without needing close oversight.
Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting support to engineering teams — working directly with them to resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures.
Build proof-of-concepts and reference implementations to validate architectural approaches before broader rollout.
Embed security, compliance, and Well-Architected best practices into every design (IAM, encryption, secrets management, threat modeling).
Design AI-Enabled Solutions
Architect solutions that incorporate AI/ML and agentic AI services (e.g., Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker) at the solution-design level — evaluating where generative AI and agent-based patterns fit within a broader enterprise architecture.
Stay current on the AI/ML landscape and recommend where it creates real architectural or business value.
Communicate and Influence
Communicate architecture and trade-offs clearly to executives, clients, product managers, and engin
