Role Description This full-time Phlebotomist role at Apollo Diagnostics is an on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing safe and accurate blood collection procedures, including venipuncture and capillary draws, following established protocols.

Daily tasks include preparing collection materials, verifying patient identity, labeling and handling specimens, and ensuring proper documentation in laboratory systems. The role involves collaborating with laboratory and clinical teams,



maintaining a clean and protected work environment, adhering to infection control and quality standards, and providing a calm, professional experience for patients.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Blood Collection skills, including venipuncture and capillary sampling.
- Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills relevant to specimen handling, processing, and storage.
- Candidates should possess Medical Assisting capabilities to support patient preparation and basic clinical procedures.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and foundational concepts in Medicine related to diagnostics.
- Candidates should have attention to detail, adherence to safety and infection control protocols, and strong patient-focused communication skills.
- Relevant certification or diploma in phlebotomy, medical laboratory technology, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
- Prior experience working in a diagnostic center, hospital, or clinical laboratory is an advantage.
