Required Skills
- Strong performance testing and performance engineering experience
- Advanced Apache JMeter experience
- JMeter scripting, parameterization, correlation and workload modeling
- Groovy and JSR223 scripting
- Load, stress, spike, endurance, scalability, capacity and volume testing
- Performance testing for web applications, APIs and microservices
- Experience with Current Relic and AWS cloud monitoring
- Exposure to Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana or Prometheus
- SQL, REST API, cloud and microservices experience
- Jenkins, GitHub or Azure DevOps CI/CD experience
- Experience analyzing application, infrastructure and database bottlenecks
- Exposure to Generative AI or AI agents for performance testing is preferred
Role Summary The Performance Test Engineer will create performance test strategies, scripts, scenarios and workload models; execute multiple forms of performance testing; monitor application and infrastructure behavior; identify bottlenecks; and provide optimization recommendations and performance reports.
