Role & responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 support for production applications and ensure SLA adherence

- Analyze and resolve production incidents, defects, and service requests

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures

- Write and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries for troubleshooting and data fixes

- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and monitoring

- Work closely with development, database, and infrastructure teams

- Monitor application health and proactively identify issues

- Participate in change management, release deployments, and maintenance activities

- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and documentation standards

Mandatory Skills:

- Solid hands-on experience in PL/SQL (Advanced querying, procedures, functions, performance tuning)

- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and environment

- Experience in Application Support / Production Support

- Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)

- Hands-on experience in Shell Scripting (Bash scripting)

Preferred candidate profile

- Knowledge of Oracle Database / DBA concepts

- Basic understanding of Java

- Experience with monitoring tools and job scheduling tools
