Mission of the Role: The Technical Quote Leader is responsible for leading new business pursuits/quotes for the Display product line and coordinating with all Display Product Line functions (Customer Regional Engineering, Mechanical, Display & Lens teams, Hardware & Platform Software teams, Program & Commodity Purchasing and Manufacturing) and lead & coordinate associated internal engineering activities. This role will have a clear understanding of why, what,
and when of an assigned product and will communicate its story and the business value concisely to all stakeholders.
Typical Duties: Technical lead of Display related engineering activities for Customer RFIs & Quotations: Lead multi-functional global engineering internal team to Establish & direct engineering team supporting pursuits/quotes within the Displays Product Line.
Technical Lead for RFx Quotations:
Lead global engineering team.
Direct engineering team for current product line pursuits/quotes.
Review new product requirements (Mechanical, HW, SW).
Coordinate technical deliverables for quote timeline.
Develop optimal designs and review BOM costs.
Ensure timely completion of quote documentation (TDR, BOM, assumptions).
Work with Product Management & commercial team
