Role Purpose
To develop new liability insurance business, manage client relationships, and oversee the placement of liability insurance policies. The role is responsible for identifying client needs, providing expert advice, structuring appropriate insurance solutions, negotiating competitive terms with insurers, and ensuring policies are accurately placed and serviced throughout their lifecycle.
Key Expectations
1. Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities for liability insurance products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and existing clients.
Conduct client meetings to understand business operations, risk exposures, and insurance requirements.
Prepare and deliver professional insurance proposals, presentations, and quotations.
Achieve individual sales, revenue, and renewal targets.
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the company's insurance portfolio.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates on business opportunities.
2. Technical Oversight of Liability Insurance Placements
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for clients requiring liability insurance.
Design and recommend suitable liability insurance solutions based on client risk profiles.
Manage the complete placement process from submission to policy issuance.
Negotiate competitive terms, pricing, and coverage with insurers and underwriting teams.
Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
Maintain current knowledge of liability insurance products, market developments, and underwriting trends.
3. Client Relationship & Service
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on liability insurance matters.
Provide expert advice during policy placement, renewals, endorsements, and claims.
Respond promptly to client enquiries and resolve technical issues.
