Position Overview
We are seeking a formidable General Manager & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with 15+ years of execution-focused experience across high-complexity domains. Operating within the institution’s For-Profit (Private Limited) commercial arm, the CTO will act as the ultimate "Product Architect."
This role demands a visionary leader capable of bridging the "Valley of Death" between applied research and commercial productization. You will leverage the world-class,



government-backed lab infrastructure of our partner Section 8 Institute to translate raw deep-tech research into highly profitable, market-ready industrial products. Your mandate is to connect global high-complexity technologies with India’s precision manufacturing and software ecosystems to build a sustainable, IP-led competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Technology Leadership (TRL-4 to TRL-7)
Roadmap Execution: Define and execute a ruthless, long-term technology and product roadmap across Aerospace & Defense, Semiconductor & Microelectronics, Cybersecurity, Health-tech, and Advanced Manufacturing.
Commercial Translation: Lead the rapid transition from lab-scale prototypes into commercially viable, "Made in India" industrial products ready for Tier-1 deployment.
2. Asset-Light R&D; & Infrastructure Utilization
