Role Description

The Field Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai and is responsible for driving sales of LiuGong Material Handling Equipment (MHE) across assigned territories.

The role involves identifying prospective customers, generating leads, conducting customer visits, understanding operational requirements, recommending suitable material handling solutions, and successfully closing sales. The Field Sales Specialist will work closely with customers from industries such as manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, automotive, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, engineering, construction, ports, and distribution.

The ideal candidate is self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in the field while building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

* Identify new business opportunities through field visits, cold calling, referrals, networking, and industrial area mapping.
* Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into customers.




* Conduct customer meetings to understand operational requirements and recommend suitable LiuGong MHE solutions.
* Promote the complete range of LiuGong forklifts, electric forklifts, diesel forklifts, lithium-ion forklifts, pallet trucks, stackers, reach trucks, and warehouse equipment.
* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management

* Build and maintain solid relationships with existing and new customers.
* Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely follow-ups and professional communication.
* Handle customer queries, objections, and negotiations effectively.
* Identify repeat business and cross-selling opportunities.

Product Demonstration

* Schedule and conduct live equipment demonstrations at customer locations.
* Explain product features, specifications, applications, safety standards, and ROI.
* Coordinate trial demonstrations with service and operations teams.
