Job Summary The Paint Shop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all paint shop operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. The role includes manpower handling, paint process monitoring, material control, and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day paint shop operations.

- Allocate work and monitor painters, helpers, and operators.

- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.

- Monitor paint mixing, coating thickness, curing process, and finishing quality.

- Ensure proper surface preparation before painting.

- Control paint consumption and minimize wastage.

- Monitor oven temperature, conveyor speed, and curing parameters.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments.

- Conduct quality inspections and address paint-related defects.

- Maintain production records, shift reports, and material usage reports.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and PPE usage.





- Train and guide paint shop employees on standard operating procedures.

- Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of Powder Coating / Liquid Painting Processes.

- Understanding of Paint Mixing and Surface Preparation.

- Knowledge of Paint Defects and Corrective Actions.

- Manpower Handling and Team Management.

- Production Planning and Reporting.

- Basic Computer Knowledge (MS Excel, ERP).

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering.

Experience

- 3 to 8 Years of experience in Paint Shop Operations.

- Experience in Powder Coating, Liquid Painting, or Automotive Paint Shop preferred.

Pay: ₹12,199.10 - ₹35,000.00 per month
