SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Create detailed CAD drawings based on engineering specifications, sketches, and input from engineers.
2. Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes or improvements.
3. Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
4. Maintain drawing standards and documentation in accordance with company and industry guidelines.
5. Perform tolerance analysis and basic calculations to support design decisions.
6. Prepare layouts, assembly drawings, and part details for manufacturing.
7. Manage and organize CAD files.
8. Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Assist in the design and development of packaging for existing products.
10. Conduct packaging performance testing (e.g., drop, vibration, compression).
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Support packaging documentation, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
13. Evaluate packaging materials and suppliers for cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
14. Participate in packaging line trials and validation activities.
15. Assist in troubleshooting packaging issues in manufacturing and logistics.
16. Stay updated on packaging trends, materials, and regulatory requirements.

17. Maintain a positive team-oriented workplace.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience in packaging design or engineering
- Familiarity with CAD software e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Artios CAD
- Basic understanding of packaging materials (plastics, paperboard, corrugate, etc.).
