Oracle EBS Application & OCI Lead Engineer High-Priority Requirement

LetzBizz is urgently hiring an experienced Oracle EBS Application & OCI Lead Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Oracle Database administration.

Candidates must possess relevant hands-on experience in both Oracle EBS and OCI . Profiles without either of these mandatory skills will not be considered.

Support Requirement: Willingness to support 24×7 production operations, including night shifts when required

Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Application and OCI Lead Engineer to manage, support, maintain, and enhance enterprise Oracle E-Business Suite environments hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

The candidate will be responsible for Oracle EBS application administration, Oracle Database administration, OCI cloud operations, RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, WebLogic, patching, cloning, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and production support.

This position requires strong technical leadership, troubleshooting ability, ownership of critical production environments, and coordination with application, database, infrastructure, cloud, security, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle EBS Administration

- Lead Oracle E-Business Suite application administration and production-support activities.
- Manage Oracle EBS R12.2 application and database environments.
- Perform application-tier and database-tier startup, shutdown, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and maintenance.
- Manage Concurrent Managers, Workflow Mailer, Forms, Reports, Apache, Oracle HTTP Server, WebLogic Managed Servers, and application listeners.
- Perform ADOP online patching, application patching, technology-stack patching, and post-patch validation.
- Perform workplace cloning and refresh activities across production, testing, and development environments.
- Maintain EBS context files, AutoConfig, application file systems, and dual file systems.
- Troubleshoot login issues, concurrent-program failures, workflow issues,



forms issues, and application-performance problems.
- Coordinate with functional, technical, database, infrastructure, and Oracle Support teams.

Oracle Database Administration
- Administer Oracle databases supporting Oracle EBS environments.
- Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, CRS, OCR, Voting Disk, SCAN listeners, VIPs, and database services.
- Perform database monitoring, patching, upgrades, backup, recovery, capacity management, and performance tuning.
- Manage tablespaces, datafiles, indexes, archive logs, FRA, undo, temporary tablespaces, and database growth.
- Use AWR, ADDM, ASH, SQL Trace, TKPROF, execution plans, and SQL-tuning tools.
- Troubleshoot RAC node failures, cluster issues, ASM disk-group issues, listener problems, and database-availability incidents.
- Ensure the availability, stability, performance, and security of critical production databases.

OCI Administration
- Lead Oracle Cloud Infrastructure administration and operational-support activities.
- Manage Oracle EBS application and database workloads hosted on OCI.
- Work with OCI Compute, Block Volume, Object Storage, File Storage, VCN, Subnets, Security Lists, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers, IAM, Backup, and Monitoring.
- Support OCI resource provisioning, compute scaling, storage expansion, backup configuration, snapshots, and environment monitoring.
- Manage and support Oracle Exadata services on OCI.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, network, security, storage, database, and application issues.
- Coordinate with cloud, infrastructure, security, network, and Oracle Support teams.
- Ensure OCI environments meet availability, performance, security, and operational requirements.

Backup, Recovery and Disaster Recovery
- Configure, monitor, and maintain RMAN backup jobs.
- Perform database restoration, recovery testing, and backup validation.
- Manage Oracle Data Guard configuration, monitoring, switchover, failover, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor standby-database synchronisation, redo-apply status, archive-log gaps, and replication delays.
- Participate in disaster-recovery drills and validate recovery procedures.
- Maintain backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery documentation.
- Support agreed Recovery Time Objective and Recovery Point Objective requirements.

- Strong hands-on experience managing OCI-hosted Oracle environments.
- Strong Oracle Database administration experience.
- Experience supporting Oracle RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, RMAN, and Data Guard.
- Experience with Oracle EBS patching, cloning, upgrades, WebLogic, and application-tier administration.
- Experience supporting production environments operating on a 24×7 basis.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage critical technical issues and production incidents.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple technical and business teams.
