The People team at OakNorth is a collaborative, execution-focused function that partners closely with the business to deliver strong people outcomes. In India, we work alongside senior People Partners and People Ops to support a growing organisation across the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding through to performance and development — in a fast-paced, product-led environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a People Partner to support our growing India organisation, partnering closely with the Portfolio Monitoring, Credit Analytics, and Operations teams. This role blends hands-on execution with independent ownership across onboarding, engagement, performance processes, learning coordination, and employee experience.



It's ideally suited to someone who is confident partnering with managers, proactive in identifying people risks, and genuinely passionate about building a excellent place to work.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Partner with managers on day-to-day people matters, acting as a trusted point of contact for employees through connects, pulse check-ins, and engagement conversations.
Proactively identify people risks and themes and work with leaders on mitigation plans.
Own onboarding and early-tenure experience for new hires in collaboration with People Ops; support pre- and post-joining engagement to improve offer-to-join conversion and early retention.
Analyse onboarding feedback and drive continuous improvement to the new hire experience.
Lead planning and execution of team engagement initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to ensure high participation and meaningful impact.
