Hiring: Cloud Security & DevSecOps Engineer (Contract) | Remote | Immediate Start
We're looking for a hands-on Cloud Security & DevSecOps Engineer to support a 5–6 week full-time engagement focused on AWS security remediation and SOC 2 readiness.

About the Role
This is a delivery-focused role, not an advisory position. You'll be responsible for implementing a defined security roadmap and delivering a complete handover at the end of the engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Implement AWS security best practices and remediate security gaps.
Configure CloudTrail, GuardDuty, AWS Config, Security Hub, Amazon Inspector, IAM Access Analyzer, KMS, and SSM.
Strengthen IAM, MFA, password policies, and security groups.
Secure AWS networking using VPCs, AWS Network Firewall, VPC Endpoints, and SSM Session Manager.
Build an isolated AWS development environment with AWS WorkSpaces and DLP controls.
Configure and harden GitHub Enterprise (SSO, SAML, IP Allow Lists, organization policies).




Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Produce architecture documentation, runbooks, and complete knowledge transfer.
Must-Have Skills
✅ 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Security, or DevSecOps
✅ Strong expertise with AWS Security Services (CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Config, Security Hub, Inspector, IAM, KMS, SSM)
✅ AWS Networking (VPC, Security Groups, AWS Network Firewall, NAT, VPC Endpoints)
✅ GitHub Enterprise Administration (SSO, SAML, IP Allow Lists)
✅ AWS WorkSpaces, Citrix, Coder, or similar VDI platforms with DLP controls
✅ Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
✅ Experience implementing SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA technical controls
Nice to Have
Google Workspace, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID integration
Endpoint Security / EDR
Zero-egress secure development environments
AWS Security Specialty or Solutions Architect Certifications
