Malloy Events seeks a highly self-motivated production manager to oversee warehouse logistics, installation crews, as well as maintenance of A/V/L rental items. Candidates will also execute event installations. Candidates should be proactive and positive, with an appreciation for details, and a proven ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment. This position has room for growth.

Responsibilities Include

Coordinate and manage crews for off-site jobs and staff for warehouse
Manage pre-production and post-production of events
Train crew as a team and maintain a high level of morale
Basic knowledge of A/V/L repair
Maintain and organize warehouse
Communicate and foster relationships with high-end clientele
Properly and safely operate hand tools
Work weekends during peak spring/summer/fall months
Assist with implementing recent systems to streamline jobs, cut costs and create efficiency




Thoroughly understands and complies with company policy and safety manual

Requirements

Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced/high energy environment
Experience managing staff
Ability to work in ever-changing situations and use common sense when analyzing and completing each job
Experience driving a truck with a trailer
Valid driver's license and a clean DMV record
Ability to push 100 lbs and lift 50-75 lbs.
Special Event experience and/or event lighting
Woodworking experience plus
Working knowledge of special events through all phases of production
