We are currently looking for a energetic, knowledgeable and passionate IBDP Economics Teacher to join our team of educators to guide and mentor students through the rigorous demands of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)

Responsibilities (include but not limited to
):Plan and deliver high-quality Economics lessons for IBDP students in accordance with the IBO subject guid
e.Use inquiry-based, discussion-oriented and concept-driven teaching methodologies aligned with IB pedagog
y.Develop detailed lesson plans, unit plans and annual academic planners aligned with curriculum objectives and assessment criteri
a.Prepare students effectively for all components of the IBDP Economics assessment including Internal Assessments (IAs),



External Examinations (Papers 1, 2 and 3) and Extended Essay supervision if assigne
d.Demonstrate strong subject expertise in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Global Economics with the ability to connect theoretical knowledge to current economic development
s.Integrate contemporary economic issues, global market trends, financial systems, public policy discussions and case studies into classroom teachin
g.Guide students in data interpretation, economic analysis, essay writing, evaluation techniques and evidence-based argument constructio
n.Support and supervise students in the completion of Internal Assessments (IA) ensuring academic integrity, research quality and compliance with IB assessment standard
s.Encourage students to develop analytical thinking, independent inquiry and research skills relevant to economics and social science
s.Facilitate classroom discussions, debates, presentations a
