Key Responsibilities

Monitor NDTV Profit's live TV programming and identify high-impact moments, interviews, discussions, and market-moving clips.
Curate and edit video clips for publishing across social media platforms.

Spot opportunities to convert TV content into standalone vertical videos and digital-first formats.

Assist with YouTube livestream operations, including scheduling streams, updating metadata, monitoring live broadcasts, and ensuring smooth publishing workflows.
Write compelling captions, headlines, and social copy tailored to different platforms.
Create or coordinate thumbnails and other visual assets for social distribution.

Work closely with the social media team to optimize content for audience engagement and reach.

Track content performance and contribute ideas based on trends and audience behaviour.
Stay on top of developments in business, markets, technology, and current affairs.

What We're Looking For

Strong interest in journalism, business news, markets,



and current affairs.
Sharp editorial judgment and the ability to identify compelling content quickly.
Familiarity with YouTube, X, Instagram Reels, and short-form video formats.
Basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools).
Ability to write clear, accurate, and engaging social media copy.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Comfortable working either an early morning shift (starting at 7:30 AM) or an evening shift (ending at 9:30 PM).

Must bring and work on a personal laptop throughout the internship.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
