Quantify cat risk embedded in reinsurance submissions for the Reinsurance operations. Support broader risk management initiatives in collaboration with corporate areas.
What you’ll be DOING
What will your essential responsibilities include?
Gather and interpret information from clients, brokers, and underwriters.
Model catastrophe reinsurance structures and strategies using RMS and other vendor models to support actuarial/underwriting functions.
Work with our customers to understand exposures, review modeling results, explain modeling limitations, and resolve issues promptly.
Assess data quality and make necessary assumptions for modeling. Create reports for client exposure and model losses.
Support projects that improve our function such as model validation,



exposure aggregation, tool development, and data mining.

Assist in preparing the quarterly aggregation reports, building out in-force portfolios, and providing the corresponding loss distributions by peril/region.
Develop processes & scripts to facilitate data transfers and optimize risk calculations.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
You will report to Lead (AVP) - Reinsurance Catastrophe Modeling.
What you will BRING

Required Skills and Abilities:
Post Graduate freshers with Statistics or Maths or Economics specialisation
Shift -12.30pm to 9 pm
Hybrid-3 days work from office in a week
Understanding reinsurance terms and conditions would be highly advantageous.
Undergraduate-level knowledge of statistical and mathematical concepts is required.
