Job Summary & Responsibilities
Technical Instructor will work in the Bloomington MN office reporting to the Sr Manager Technical Training (in Budd Lake NJ). Relocation assistance available upon approvals. This position is a full time Technical Training Instructor responsible for delivering training materials to ONTO Service Engineers and Customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional design, stand-up instruction, development of technical documentation, and experience in Task List Based equipment training, experience in Field Service support is also preferred.
Designs Training Courses for customers and ONTO service engineers
Conducts technical training courses for customers and/or ONTO service engineers.
Interacts with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses.
Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation.
Works with engineering, technical support, and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features.
Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions.
Follows up to determine course material is current and relevant
Maintains training tool operational readiness and resolves any issues that may arise with th
