Basic Purpose:

Production Management – Meeting the requirements of Production department of BASF Catalysts
Chennai plant.

Responsible for the planned production and to meet the requirements of various Customers without fail. Responsible in ensuring the manufactured product quality to meet the agreed specification. Responsible to work Safely in the machines.

Job Requirement :

Education : Diploma (In Any)
Experience : 2 to 5 years

Roles and Responsibilities

Achieve Shift Production Targets: Ensure the required production output is achieved by operating at the optimum cycle time while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Manage Changeovers & Setups: Plan and execute product changeovers and machine setups within the targeted time, ensuring first-time-right quality and minimal production downtime to meet customer requirements.
Process Capability Management: Monitor and sustain process capability by ensuring the required Cp/Cpk levels are achieved through process control, parameter optimization, and corrective actions.
Slurry & Production Reconciliation:



Ensure accurate reconciliation and traceability of slurry consumption with coated parts production, maintaining proper material-to-output mapping and minimizing process losses.
Cycle Time Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve machine cycle time through process optimization, waste elimination, and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to maximize overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
To maintain the area of operation clean which includes machine, space around the machines, tools that are handled for production
Achieving targeted efficiency in Production with focus on Quality by reducing Rework and Rejection. Monitoring and ensuring a secure Production process with attention to achieve Process capability.
Responsible to comply to the requirement of PPEs as per the area of operation / activity performed.
Ensure to use LOTO during product changeover activity and machine breakdow
