External Job Description
MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive productivity, efficiency, and throughput across all manufacturing units.

Conduct time studies, line balancing, and work measurement to define standard cycle times and manpower norms.

Improve OEE, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance capacity utilization through data-driven improvements.

Lead manpower planning, shift optimization, and deployment aligned with demand and cost targets.

Develop capacity models and support production planning with load plans and scenario analysis.

Drive cost reduction through waste elimination and method and layout improvements.

Optimize shop-floor layouts and material flow to reduce WIP, movement, lead time, and space constraints.

Establish standard work, SOPs, benchmarks,



and dashboards for consistency and visibility.

Partner with cross-functional teams to support recent products, process changes, and expansions.

Coach teams on Industrial Engineering, Lean, and Kaizen to build a CI culture.

Education:
B.E. / B.Tech. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Production, or related discipline
Related Experience:
Minimum of 7-12 years of experience
Additional Skills (If Any):
Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification preferredCompetencies
