Team Overview
BlackRock’s Outsourced Platform Services (OPS)
is responsible for the middle and back-office services in support of BlackRock Solution’s outsourcing services businesses worldwide. OPS spans data and security master management, transaction management, collateral management, payments, corporate actions, reconciliations, alternative operations, and investment accounting functions. OPS is situated globally to provide operational excellence to our partners and clients.
OPS’s Transaction Management Operations team is responsible for the confirmation and settlement of transactions with counterparties and custodians. General functions include trade confirmations, settlement governance, collateral management, margin and payment processing, and exception resolution, mitigating settlement risk, facilitating trading activity with providers. Key focuses include managing day-to-day broker/dealer and custody relationships, ensuring globally consistent trade confirmation an
