The Manager, SRE will lead reliability and automation efforts for a focused set of Vertafore products or platforms (e.g., AMS360 & Sagitta OR CI/CD platform services). This role ensures operational excellence through SLIs/SLOs, monitoring, and automation, while managing a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities
* Product Reliability
* Own SLIs/SLOs and monitoring for assigned products or platforms.
* Implement observability tools and dashboards for proactive performance management.
* CI/CD & Automation
* Manage build/release pipelines and provisioning automation for assigned scope.
* Reduce operational toil through scripting and automation-first practices.
* Incident Response
* Lead on-call rotations; ensure timely resolution and root cause analysis.
* Collaboration
* Work with Directors and VP, SRE to align reliability initiatives with organizational goals.
* Partner with Cloud Ops for infrastructure readiness and patching coordination.
* Team Development
* Mentor engineers; foster a culture of reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
* 12+ years in SRE or DevOps roles
* Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, OctopusDeploy).
* Solid AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code skills.
* Excellent incident management and communication skills.
