We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Kerala. In this role, you will be responsible for the structural design and detailing of Light Gauge Steel (LGS) framing systems for residential projects across the United States.
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, architects, and fabricators, utilizing modern design tools and US engineering standards to deliver high-quality structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and analyze Light Gauge Steel (LGS) framing systems for US residential and commercial projects.
* Prepare structural calculations for gravity, wind, and seismic loads in accordance with applicable US building codes.
* Develop framing layouts, member sizing, and connection details and create accurate structural and fabrication drawings using Vertex BD.
* Review architectural drawings and coordinate with architects, fabricators, and project managers.
* Identify design conflicts and provide practical engineering solutions.
* Ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant US codes and standards.
* Participate in design reviews, quality control, and project coordination meetings.
* Support revisions during permitting, fabrication, and construction.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* 2–6 years of structural engineering experience (exceptional fresh graduates may also be considered).
* Strong understanding of structural analysis and steel design principles.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid workplace while collaborating effectively with international teams.

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
* Vertex BD (preferred)
* Light Gauge Steel (LGS) / Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) design
* US residential structural engineering
