) PURPOSE:

To act as the key interface between Automotive OEM customers, NSV Manufacturing Plant, Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Quality teams for successful development and launch of new automotive projects. The position will be responsible for Product Development, APQP, PPAP, DVPR, PFMEA, product testing, customer grade reviews, quality compliance, project timelines, risk management, and production quality assurance.

2) RESPONSIBILITIES:

a. OEM Customer & Project Coordination

Act as the primary interface between Automotive OEM customers, design, engineering, and quality departments.

Coordinate with customers for new product development, technical requirements, specifications, drawings, quality standards, and project milestones.

Ensure successful launch of projects within agreed quality, cost, and timeline requirements.

Manage customer communication related to product development, quality issues, testing, approvals, and project status.

Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, presentations, reviews, and audits.

Handle customer grade reviews and performance-related discussions.

b. New Product Development

Manage end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) activities from customer requirement through production launch.

Prepare and monitor detailed project development schedules and milestones.

Coordinate, Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchase, SCM, and Quality teams.

Track development activities, project risks, testing status, tooling, trials, and production readiness.

Ensure timely completion of development activities as per customer requirements.

Identify project risks and coordinate appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.

c. APQP & PPAP Management

Lead and manage APQP for recent and modified products.

Manage complete PPAP submission and approval activities.

Prepare, review, and maintain APQP and PPAP documentation.

Coordinate preparation and review of Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, Dimensional Reports, Material/Test Reports, Capability Studies, PPAP documents, and DVPR.

Ensure timely closure of customer observations and PPAP-related concerns.

Maintain proper records of customer approvals and development documentation.

d. Product Engineering & Testing Compliance





Ensure product development activities comply with customer drawings, specifications, engineering standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Manage product testing and validation timelines as per customer requirements.

Coordinate with internal and external laboratories for product validation and testing.

Monitor DVPR status and ensure timely completion of all validation requirements.

Review test results and coordinate corrective actions for failures or deviations.

Ensure product engineering changes are properly reviewed, documented, and implemented.

e. Quality Assurance & Process Control

Develop and implement procedures for inspection, testing, monitoring, and reporting of quality issues.

Monitor production processes and parameters affecting product quality.

Ensure quality standards are consistently maintained throughout the manufacturing process.

Conduct regular process, product, and final inspection audits.

Monitor production output to ensure compliance with customer specifications.

Identify quality risks and implement proactive preventive measures.

Report process/product malfunctions and quality deviations to concerned plant functions for immediate corrective action.

Ensure effective implementation and closure of corrective and preventive actions.

f. Quality Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and potential risks.

Facilitate proactive solutions through data-driven analysis.

Monitor rejection, rework, customer complaints, process deviations, and other quality indicators.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and process reliability.

Review existing quality standards, procedures, and policies and recommend improvements.

Implement lessons learned from previous projects and customer feedback.

g. Quality Team Management

Supervise, guide, and develop Quality Inspectors, Technicians, Engineers, and other quality team members.





Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.

Provide technical guidance on inspection, testing, process control, and quality issues.

Ensure adequate manpower and resources are available for inspection and quality assurance activities.

Conduct training and awareness programs related to quality standards and procedures.

h. Production Quality & Audits

Assure reliability and consistency of production through regular process and product audits.

Verify compliance with approved Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, work instructions, and inspection standards.

Monitor critical process parameters and ensure they remain within defined limits.

Ensure immediate containment and corrective action for non-conforming products.

Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for permanent resolution of quality issues.

i. Compliance & External Audits

Ensure compliance with applicable automotive quality standards, customer-specific requirements, and legal/regulatory requirements.

Support and coordinate internal, customer, certification, and external quality audits.

Communicate with external quality assurance officers and customer representatives during on-site inspections.

Ensure timely closure of audit findings and observations.

Maintain required quality documentation and records for audit readiness.

j. Cost & Project Reporting

Track product development and project-related costs against approved budgets.

Monitor project progress, quality status, testing status, risks, and open issues.

Prepare regular project status reports for management.

Highlight critical project risks, delays, quality concerns, and customer issues to senior management.

Facilitate cross-functional project review meetings and presentation

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
