Position : Network Engineer - L2

Location: Prabhadevi, Mumbai (Rotational Shifts)

Employment Type: Full Time Role

Total Experience: 5 years or higher, should have hands on experience on Network (Cisco / Aruba) and Firewall/ SD-WAN/ WAF/ IPS) Administration

Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security breaches.

Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.

Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols.

Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.

Proven experience as a Network Security Administrator or similar role.

In-depth knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.

Experience with security tools such as SIEM, antivirus software, and vulnerability scanners.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skill

Relevant certifications in security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.

Hands-on experience with Aruba EdgeConnect, Orchestrator, and WAN optimization technologies.

Required Skills

Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.

Participate in network design discussions and provide input on SD-WAN architecture.

Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Provide on-call support for critical incidents and planned maintenance windows.

3+ years of experience in network engineering with at least 1–2 years in SD-WAN environments.

Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, and QoS.

Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Aruba Central).

Proficient in troubleshooting Layer 2/3 network issues.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Troubleshoot network issues and perform necessary repairs.

Implement security measures to protect network integrity.

Manage and support VPNs, firewalls, and other network security devices.

Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Collaborate with IT team to design and implement network improvements.

Provide technical support and training to end-users.

Hands-on experience with Aruba EdgeConnect, Orchestrator, and WAN optimization technologies.
