Job Summary

We are seeking a NetApp Certified Storage Installation Engineer to plan, deploy, and support Storage &

- Backup Technology, NetApp storage systems is value Added. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in deploying NetApp ONTAP/ E Series based systems, performing hardware and software installations, and ensuring high-availability configurations in enterprise environments. &
- Backup Technology installation and configuration.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installation, configuration, and upgrade of NetApp storage systems (AFF, FAS, E Series, etc.).

- Implement and validate NetApp ONTAP environments (Data ONTAP/SANtricity)

- Integrate NetApp storage with SAN/NAS architectures and protocols (iSCSI, FC, NFS, CIFS/SMB).

- Conduct site audits, Rack/Stack hardware, and perform end-to-end validation and handover.

- Troubleshoot installation and configuration issues, coordinating with NetApp Support as needed.

- Backup software installation & configuration with Veeam, NetVault,etc.

- Backup Immutable storage &
- Air-Gap understanding.

- Document Installation Activities, Network Diagrams, and configuration guides.

- SAN Switches installation &

- Configuration.

- Zoning, SAN Switch Interconnect, Performance &





- Troubleshooting Firmware Upgradation.

- Best practices for zoning, LUN provisioning, Snapshot configuration, and data protection. Snapmirrored configuration.

- Work with project managers and end customers to meet installation timelines and SLAs.

- Understanding on Software Defined Storage.

Required Qualifications

Job Requirements

- 8+ years of hands-on experience with NetApp storage installations.

- Robust understanding of ONTAP CLI and System Manager.

- Familiarity with networking (Ethernet, FC SAN switches like Cisco/Brocade).

- Experience with tools such as Active IQ, Config Advisor, AutoSupport, Unified Manager, etc.

- Knowledge of VMware Etc. integration with NetApp storage is a add on.

- Good communication and documentation skills.

- Travel to customer’s Remote sites (if required).

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Snap Mirror, Snap Vault, FlexClone, DC-DR replication, Backup Software’s

- Knowledge of scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation.

- Familiarity with backup software (e.g., Commvault, Veeam, NetBackup, NetVault) with NetApp &
- Other OEMs.

- Exposure to hybrid cloud storage (CVO, AWS FSx for ONTAP, etc.)
