Experience Required
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Database Administration (IBM Netezza / IBM PureData for Analytics)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer IBM Netezza (IBM PureData) database environments
- Perform database maintenance, monitoring, and system upkeep
- Handle backup, restore, and recovery activities
- Ensure database performance tuning and optimization
- Work on both DDL (Data Definition Language) and DML (Data Manipulation Language) operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders for data modeling activities
- Act as a Technical Data Steward, ensuring metadata management and governance
- Support system upgrades, installations,
and maintenance activities (including extended hours if required)
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Netezza / PureData DBA activities
- Expertise in database administration: maintenance, backup, and performance tuning
- Experience with AWS PaaS environments
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (3–5 years)
- Positive understanding of database design and data modeling
- Experience in working with metadata and data governance tools (preferred)

- Exposure to Data Governance tools such as:
- Alation
- DataHub
