Natural Adabas Developer Job Summary

Seeking a Natural Adabas Developer with 5+ years of experience in Natural programming and Adabas database development. The role involves designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting applications in mainframe environments, with exposure to JCL, batch processing, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Natural and Adabas.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform system enhancements, bug fixes, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Work in mainframe environments such as z/OS and BS2000.
- Develop and maintain JCL and batch processing jobs.
- Collaborate with business analysts, testers, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders.




- Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Support migration and integration with up-to-date platforms such as Java, .NET, and web services.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot application issues.
- Support integration efforts using technologies such as EntireX, Predict, and NaturalONE.
- Follow SDLC and Agile methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
