Your Impact
As a G6 Data Engineer, you will be pivotal in designing and maintaining robust data pipelines that power our global operations. You will play a key role in modernizing our data landscape, ensuring high-quality, reliable data delivery across our ecosystem. This role is exciting because you will work at the intersection of established enterprise systems and cutting-edge cloud platforms, directly influencing how Cisco leverages data to power the decision making and support our customers.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica and DBT to support enterprise data requirements.




Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL stored procedures and queries to ensure high-performance data processing and retrieval.
Lead data migration and integration efforts across diverse environments, including Teradata, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake.
Implement automation strategies using Python to streamline data workflows, reduce manual intervention, and improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and business analysts, to ensure data integrity and alignment with evolving business goals.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in data engineering, database development, or a similar technical role.
Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL and proven experience working with Teradata database systems.
