Role Overview
The Senior Program Officer – State Mainstreaming will be responsible for leading the integration and institutionalization of Computational Thinking (CT), AI Literacy, Career Exploration, and Future Skills within Gujarat's public education system. The role will work closely with Samagra Shiksha, GCERT, DIKSHA, and other state education stakeholders to strengthen curriculum integration, teacher professional development, digital learning initiatives, and statewide adoption. The role also involves providing technical support, coordinating cross-functional teams, strengthening government partnerships, generating implementation evidence, and contributing to long-term systems strengthening &sustainability.;
Role & Responsibilities -
Government Coordination
● Build and strengthen strategic relationships with Samagra Shiksha, GCERT, DIKSHA, and other state education stakeholders.
● Coordinate with government officials to facilitate planning, review, approval, and rollout of programme initiatives.
● Represent Quest Alliance in state-level meetings, technical working groups,



consultations, and review forums.
●Support alignment of programme priorities with state education policies, priorities, and existing government initiatives.
● Facilitate regular review meetings with government stakeholders to monitor progress and strengthen implementation.
State Mainstreaming
● Lead the planning and coordination of CT, AI Literacy, Career Exploration, and Future Skills integration through DIKSHA and other government platforms.
● Support institutionalisation of programme components within existing government systems and teacher career development initiatives.
● Identify opportunities to strengthen programme sustainability and statewide adoption.
● Co-create implementation and scale-up roadmaps with government stakeholders and internal teams.
