Job Summary
The Director of Supplier Quality is responsible for leading AGCO's global supplier quality strategy, performance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base. This role drives world-class supplier quality performance through robust APQP, PPAP, supplier development, supplier performance management, and supplier warranty recovery processes. The position is accountable for reducing supplier-related quality defects, warranty exposure, production disruptions, and cost of poor quality while enabling successful new product introductions and strategic sourcing initiatives.
A critical focus of this role is developing supplier capability in low-cost countries, improving supplier readiness for current product launches,
and driving consistency of supplier quality systems and execution across all global regions. The Director will partner closely with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Integrity, and Regional Quality teams to improve supplier performance and ensure suppliers consistently meet AGCO's quality, delivery, and reliability expectations.
