About the Role

The Associate Director – AR (DME / Physician Billing) will provide strategic and operational leadership for the AR division, ensuring end-to-end performance delivery for DME and Physician Billing clients. The role requires deep RCM expertise, solid people leadership, client management skills, and a proven track record of improving AR KPIs, cash flow, and overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Leadership
Lead the AR operations for DME and Physician Billing verticals across multiple clients.
Drive performance KPIs such as Collections, DAR, AR Aging, First-Pass Resolution, and Denial Recovery.
Ensure timely claim follow-up, denial management, audits, and root cause analyses.
Oversee daily production, quality metrics, and cross-functional workflows.

2. Strategic Management
Define business strategies to improve cash flow, reduce aging, and optimize productivity.
Identify process gaps and implement automation, workflow enhancements, and best practices.
Develop short-term and long-term roadmaps for AR operations, capacity planning,



and scalability.

3. Client Relationship Management
Act as a strategic point of contact for clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
Conduct weekly/monthly client calls, review decks, RCA presentations, and business reviews.
Manage escalations and ensure adherence to SLAs and compliance expectations.

4. People & Performance Management
Lead, mentor, and coach Team Leads, AMs, Managers, and AR teams.
Manage hiring, training needs, performance reviews, and succession planning.
Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

5. Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to HIPAA, PHI guidelines, and internal security policies.
Review internal audits, QA reports, and implement corrective actions.
Support transitions, new process movements, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
