Role Description The Occupational Therapist at Thanal will provide client-centered assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation services, with a focus on enhancing daily living skills, functional independence, and participation in community activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating clients’ physical, cognitive, and sensory needs; developing individualized treatment plans; delivering therapy sessions; and documenting progress in line with organizational standards.
The role involves close collaboration with healthcare professionals, educators, families, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care, particularly for pediatric clients and individuals requiring long-term support. The therapist will also contribute to awareness programs, caregiver training, and community-based rehabilitation initiatives. This is a full-time, in office role based in Kanjirapalli.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy, with the ability to assess and treat a range of functional, sensory, and cognitive challenges.
Knowledge of Medicine and Rehabilitation principles to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and design evidence-based interventions.
Effective Communication skills for working with clients, families, caregivers, and community stakeholders in diverse settings.
