This role is critical in delivering effective engineering solutions, maintaining operational continuity, and driving technology reliability.
Maintain, enhance, and support desktop applications, ensuring alignment with operational and user needs.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for existing software technologies, providing rapid responses and expert solutions to field and stakeholder issues.
Ensure that product code and artifacts are managed and safeguarded in a configuration management system in accordance with procedures and guidelines.
Help identify and organize requirements, produce user stories, and apply usability procedures and principles as defined at the project or product-line level or through customer input.
Evaluate alternative implementations and select the one that maximizes product value while minimizing risk and technical debt.
Build prototypes, products, and systems suitable for testing; set up and run lab simulations to validate functionality.
Design testing procedures, coordinate with others to implement and automate tests, and develop and execute unit tests.
Monitor source code quality using appropriate tools, ensuring adherence to standards and minimizing technical debt.
